Level 6 Emergency First Aid at Work (SQA)
Delivered over 1 day this Level 6 Emergency First Aid at Work course is designed to give you the knowledge and confidence to handle First Aid situations effectively. It’s perfect for anyone looking to become a certified Emergency First Aider.
Ideal for low-risk environments like offices and shops, this course meets the safety standards recommended by the HSE and is a regulated qualification. This means you can trust the quality of the training without needing to do extensive checks. The course covers a wide range of emergency scenarios, ensuring that by the end, you’ll have the skills and confidence to provide First Aid.
For higher-risk environments such as construction, manufacturing, or chemical plants, the Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work course is the best choice, offering the necessary level of First Aid training.
Training will include how to:
- Understand the role and responsibilities of a First Aider
- Assess an incident
- Manage an unresponsive casualty
- Recognise and assist a casualty who is choking
- Manage a casualty with external bleeding
- Manage a casualty who is in shock
- Manage a casualty with a minor injury
On successful completion delegates will receive an Emergency First Aid at Work certificate that will remain valid for 3 years.
First Aid Annual Skills Refresher including CPR delivered over 0.5 days
This course offers the annual refresher training recommended by the HSE for all First Aiders. It includes CPR training and ensures that First Aiders stay confident in their skills and up-to-date with current best practices

Level 6 First Aid at Work (SQA)
Delivered over 3 days. The Level 6 First Aid course takes your training to the next level, enabling you or your team to confidently handle a wider range of First Aid situations.
This thorough First Aid course is suitable for staff in all sectors, but it’s especially geared towards businesses with higher risks, like construction, manufacturing, or chemical plants. It provides participants with the essential knowledge and skills to maintain a safe working environment amidst increased hazards and to effectively manage a broader array of medical conditions.
Upon completing this First Aid course, you will have successfully covered the following units:
- Emergency First Aid at Work
- Recognition and Management of Illness and Injury in the Workplace
The training will also teach you how to:
- Understand the role and responsibilities of a First Aider
- Manage an unresponsive casualty
- Recognize and assist a choking casualty
- Manage a casualty with external bleeding
- Manage a casualty in shock
- Administer First Aid for various injuries
- Administer First Aid for burns and scalds
- Administer First Aid for eye injuries
- Administer First Aid for sudden poisoning
- Administer First Aid for anaphylaxis
- Provide First Aid for suspected major illnesses
You will receive a First Aid at Work certificate that will remain valid for 3 years.
2 Day Refresher Training (First Aid at work Requalification)
All trained First Aiders must renew their qualifications periodically. This course will extend your current First Aid at Work certification for an additional three years, provided it is completed within 28 days of your current certification’s expiration date

Level 6 Paediatric First Aid (SQA)
Paediatric First Aid Training
Delivered over 2 days This engaging two-day course covers emergency scenarios for those working with young children and infants, such as in nurseries, pre-schools, and at home. It meets the Ofsted Early Years and Childcare Register requirements.
Ideal for staff and management in day nurseries, private nursery schools, pre-schools, before and after school clubs, childminders, and home carers.
Topics Covered:
- Role of the Paediatric First Aider: Understand your responsibilities.
